Help. I have firefox 34 on a desktop windows 64 bit system. I want to open the "options" tab (I can do that) and then open the "attachments" tab (Ican't do that because the attachments tab is missing. I know it is possible because I installed some software that did open this tab for me (I saw it happen) and was able to use that attachments tab.

Now I cannot get back to that options >attachments tab.

How can I get this to work for me?

Thank you!

Just to make sure that this was not a feature of Thunderbird, here is how to get there in the Thunderbird program: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/configuration-options-attachments

If I am mistaken, it is possible that this was an add on that was not compatible with the most recent update. I tried to search for an add on that sounds to have a similar function and I found this: Attachment Options

Was this what you were looking for?

Sorry, that isn't compatible with FF34. The one time I was able to access the "options | attachments" it was working on my FF34.

The options window looked exactly like it always does but also had a tab for attachments and also a tab for chat.

This can't be that difficult, I must be going a little nuts or something.

Firefox is a web browser and not a email client so it does not have a section for Attachments and Chat in Firefox Options/Preferences as that is in Thunderbird.

Thanks for the simple & obvious solution, I just figured it out myself a little while ago. Somehow I was confused in Thunderbird's Filelink feature connecting me, via Firefox, to Hightail file storage & forwarding.

Now if I can get Hightail to work every time ...
