I have been struggling for months and months with Firefox on macOS. I have been the only user in our company struggling.

Our IT has been constantly attacking me for using Apple macOS Betas and iOS Betas. And many people in the company have assumed the problems are related to macOS DNS issues.

To try to solve the problems, we removed my Fortigate hardware vpn. We set me up with a new wifi router.

I am on macOS 27 Developer Beta 5.

Brave can access process.tomsawyer.com and build.tomsawyer.com. Chrome can access process.tomsawyer.com and build.tomsawyer.com. Safari could not access process.tomsawyer.com and build.tomsawyer.com. Firefox could not access process.tomsawyer.com and build.tomsawyer.com.

I have been struggling for a long time. Today Safari was unable to access process.tomsawyer.com and build.tomsawyer.com, both of which are internal Tom Sawyer Software web sites. I finally realized that I had iCloud > Private Relay turned on and I decided to try turning it off.

Good news Safari could now access process.tomsawyer.com and build.tomsawyer.com.

I went about my business trying to debug other problems because Firefox on Windows 11 also could not access process.tomsawyer.com and build.tomsawyer.com. I have a brand new Windows 11 setup on another laptop. Turning off DNS over HTTP in Firefox on Windows 11 solved the problem so now the Edge, Chrome, Brave, and Firefox browsers could all access our internal Tom Sawyer websites, good news!

Then at the last minute, because I became curious, I did a test and I turned off iCloud > Private Relay and Firefox suddenly could access process.tomsawyer.com and build.tomsawyer.com on macOS.

I then turned on iCloud > Private Relay and Firefox suddenly could not access process.tomsawyer.com and build.tomsawyer.com on macOS.

I quit and restarted Firefox in between each change of settings for iCloud > Private Relay.

I did this Private Relay on and off a couple of more times, yes turning it on breaks Firefox on macOS when accessing internal company websites.

This reminds me of the old days where Windows and Internet Explorer were intertwined. Apple is doing something similar to what Microsoft used to do in the bad old days with Internet Explorer.

I've been literally struggling for months and months, and now I use Brave happily. I'll hope my Firefox problems are now solved but the Firefox team should work with Apple and address this iCloud > Private Relay problem together.

You are doing this not for the first time, it happens regularly with websites that do not conform to what you would consider Mainstream! THis is not the sites fault. YOU ARE CENSORING ON PURPOSE: IF YOU WOULD NOT; YOU COULD SIMPLY ADD A BUTTON for every site THAT ALLOWS USERS TO OVERRIDE YOUR OPINIONS: WHY IS THAT NOT HAPPENBING? Hi, I'm having trouble accessing only certain sites via Firefox. I have already cleared my cache/cookies, etc. Firefox is up to date. Proxy settings are set to "Use system proxy settings."

Following links from other sites sometimes (but not always) works, but typing in a URL or search term to the address bar results in an "Unable to connect" notice.

Examples of sites: Working: google.com instagram.com mozilla.org (main site works fine, support.mozilla.org loads only as an unformatted list of links) netflix.com

Not working: usps.com goodreads.com storygraph.com firefox.com duckduckgo.com oregonwalks.org ucla.edu

Hi, My Mum who is tech illiterate has recent encountered a problem while browsing-

and only this site, she can do so in private mode and on other browsers, I have tried disabling her 2 extentions, I have cleared her cookies, cache and browsing history for Asda Direct but it still comes up blank. She does not use a VPN, she is in the UK.

The only thing I could suspect is if Firefox's VPN is somehow activating just for that one site but I can't see it being on, I only say this because I have to turn off my VPN on my own device to access this site.

Any help?

I am running Firefox version 153.0.1 on a 64bit install of Windows 11.

A few days ago I had to factory reset my computer, including a clean Windows install. Since then, when attempting to access https://vodafone.cz/muj/prihlaseni, I get an Imperva Error 15 "Access Denied" error screen - screenshot attached here. Clicking the Imperva logo on the bottom of the error message leads to https://www.imperva.com/why-am-i-seeing-this-page/?src=23.

I was able to access the site in the past, most recently on July 8, 2026 - this would have been Firefox version 152.0.5.

This error persists in troubleshooting mode but not in private/anonymous (with or without extensions enabled), nor does it appear in Microsoft Edge or Firefox on Adroid.

Clearing cookies and cache did not help - in fact the error first showed up on a clean install of Firefox, when there weren't any cookies or cache stored yet. I've tried different DNS over HTTPS settings and listing the site as an exception in settings, but none of this made a difference. Enabling Firefox's built in VPN also made no difference, regardless of the selected location.

I found a recent post (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1588627) describing a similar issue on a different website and tried the suggestion listed there to try a fresh profile - this seemed to work, but within a couple of minutes of browsing the error message returned. I've even reinstalled Firefox entirely, but this too did not help for long.

Interestingly enough, the error message lists a proxy IP address (not blacked out on the screenshot) despite the fact that I am not using a proxy.

The website provider's tech support claims this is an issue on the user side, not theirs - they have not been able to replicate the issue.

Is there anything I'm missing that would explain why this is happening?

What can I do to see these blocked items? This happens to everything I click on. Pictures or articles on clothing, political issues, absolutely every thing that has an option to check to see more. This is rather recently happening. I'm wondering if Yahoo has done something since their "New" but not better version of email.

As of about last Thursday, I have been unable to access my Isomedia.com SpamTitan01 account. I usually have a trove of spam messages, which I look at and delete, except for the one or two that are real emails. For the last 5 days My Titan vault is empty, though it is trying to retrieve data. My address is [redacted] @pioneernet.net Could it be that a Firefox update is preventing me from access?

I am using Firefox to conduct Securus Jpay video connect visits and I have been unable to join a scheduled session due to what I believe is failure of the downloaded VRE client to load. When I do a precall test, everything, including the VRE client works correctly and I'm told that I will be able to run a session successfully. However, just as the video connect visit is about to begin, I am told to download the VRE client to continue. I have don't this multiple times, deleting each prior download and re-doing the download +installation. It's been very frustrating and I've tried everything. Up until about 2 weeks ago, everything was working smoothly. I'm stumped. Please help. thank you.

Leider verweigert die Seite ideas.esa.int den Externen Benutzerzugriff weil dieser verschleiert ist? Ein neuen Registrationsvorgang (unverschleiert) mit neuen Account E-mailadresse angelegt das gleiche Problem , kein Kontakt bzw. Ansprechpartner.
