I have messenger loaded but with Firefox i can not video call when i want to call a friend or family. I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??

Hello! I appreciate many niceties of the 148 update, but i'm having an issue resulting in many more tabs on Android mobile than I usually generate. When I search something and then want to sesrch the same query again using a different search engine (by selecting a different search engine from the tab bar menu) a new tab opens, leaving the query via the previous search engine open, and the current query of the current search engine in a new tab with focus. I'm aware that this behavior can be modified on desktop, but there is no such setting for android.

I would really love for this behavior to be reverted or optional, as it's made it so I need to clear out many tabs of duplicate queries (on different sesrch engines) and it makes me avoid using the built-in search engine switcher to prevent generating more tabs :( (which sucks because I have like 10+ custom searches and they're very useful!)

Can I not turn it on because of where I am? When I click get started on the VPN extension it opens a tab saying I signed in successfully but when I go to turn it on, there's no toggle switch and just tells me to get started again. It's making me go in a circle with it.

Firefox has become a broken place to lose passwords and bookmarks repeatedly. In the past 6 months I have wasted days trying to get back a small portion of my online info too many times to count, Firefox after more than 20 years has become the worst virus my computer has ever had. Can you recommend any reliable alternatives, I am serious, Firefox is DONE!

After Windows 11 Home's Microsoft password manager supports passkey, I have troubles with passkeys in Microsoft password manager, not Windows Hello.

1. Firefox failed to login into sites with passkeys in Microsoft password manager tied with sites.
2. After Firefox added a passkey into Microsoft password manager (at that time, no error occurs and display succeed messages), Firefox an Microsoft Edge (Chromium based) fails to login by the passkey. And this trouble continues after Edge replaces the passkey tied with the site.

So, I can't use passkeys in Microsoft password manager.

Have you heard something like this troubles?

Hello. I am trying to add a new provider, which means adding a new account. When I click "Add new account" it takes me to a page that asks me to enter my existing account. Does this mean the currently running account or the new account?

So, I tried to delete that post, but it blocked the category of Science completely, so I had to unblock it.

But my point is, Why if I do not want to see this post about Seniors getting bathroom upgrades and I try to delete it does it make an entire category go away? I am sorry, but this is just goofy (trying to be polite here).

This is simply Not about Science whatsoever, that Seniors are getting bathroom upgrades if they live in these zip codes! Also this Same thing has been posted Multiple times in other Categories! Again, this post typically has Zero to do with the Category that it was posted in! I mean Zero Relevance or, more accurately, actually Less than Zero.

So, in the past, I was able to get rid of a post, but now, if I try, it blocks whatever category that the Ad was posted in! What?

Is this now the price of having Firefox? That I have to have postings that I can not either block or delete? Really?

Please explain and tell me why I can not target an individual ad from being posted. Thanks for your time. John D

on Android if I go to facebook in Desktop mode, the whole screen is translucent white and i can't press anything. switching to mobile mode no issue.

I don't have any Extension enabled, and i turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection but it didn't change anything.

I recently obtained a digital certificate for use with S/MIME. I followed the process laid out in

to generate my key pair, create a CSR, submit it to a CA, download the resulting certificate file, and import it into Thunderbird. I also imported the intermediate certificate showed as the issuer for my cert, which in turn appears to be signed by one of the certs trusted by default in Thunderbird.

Having done that, I see the certificate showing up under "your certificates" in the Certificate Manager, with a "not before" date in the past and a "not after" date in the future. So everything appears to look correct, but when I try to send a signed email I get the following error message as a pop-up:

"Sending of the message failed. You specified that this message should be digitally signed, but the application either failed to find the signing certificate specified in your Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings, or the certificate has expired."

And if I look at the console in developer tools I see:

I can't make sense of the error message, since the certificate appears under "your certificates" in the certificate manager, and it does not appear to be expired. Can anyone suggest how to determine the root cause and fix it? Does it matter that the certificate is for a non-default identify I've added for the account in Thunderbird? Does it matter if the "common name" in the certificate doesn't match the "Your Name" field in Thunderbird? Any pointers on what to check would be appreciated.

I have been using Firefox for 20 years. My company Ameriprise Financial has uninstalled it and when I try to reinstall, they immediately uninstall it. They tell me there are security vulnerabilities with Firefox. WTH Firefox?

They want me to us Google Chrome now instead.

I have lost access to the primary email on the account. I have 2fa setup on the account and I have backup recovery codes. When I go to add another email it sends a code to the primary email, which has no access. Is there a way to use either 2fa or backup codes instead of the code sent to primary email?
