'I was hacked and all of my old accounts were taking over I reset everything and am starting new I don't want to use goggle for anything any suggestions on replacements for goggle apps that are

 secure 

I'm Firefox nightly starting several days ago when you hit the widget to view all open tabs. Previously the active tab had an indicator in this all tabs listing. Now the active tab. For example, the tab where you're watching a YouTube video has no visual indication that that's actually the active tab. this is on Android. When you swipe down to view a widget that displays the tab that's playing the video when you click on it, it now does not take you to the tab that was running. Essentially, the active tab viewing is fundamentally broken on Firefox nightly whereas it worked prior to about a week ago

Please fix this! I specifically set it in the settings (on Android) so that no websites open in apps. And yet it keeps asking me whether to open them! There’s no option to "don’t ask again".

Here’s an example: I have two accounts on AliExpress — one is logged into the app, the other in the web browser! And I absolutely don’t want it to open in the app, because what for???

Please fix it so that when I have it set in the settings not to open in the app, it really doesn’t open — and doesn’t keep asking like an idiot!?

I have tidied up my passwords. I removed all from Firefox for Android on my phone, then deleted expired ones on my laptop. Then I turned syncing back on, thinking my desktop passwords would be available on my phone. They aren't. What's going wrong?

I seem to be unable to dispay desktop site on my galaxy tab despite toggling it on. I can do this in Chrome. Can you advise me how to do this as I thought it was now set as default for tab users? Thank you

Am i the only one that finds these instructions totally hopeless when syncing my desktop to phone?.. So i tap on the 3 dots / Menu in Firefox on mobile, but after that there is NO Sync & Save Data to tap on anywhere in Firefox mobile after hitting the menu dots??.. and i mean ANYWHERE in the menu, or settings or account (of course there is the ususl Syncronise Now option in the account.

So just where is this Sync & Save Data i would lobe to know, nevermind how am i supposed to pair my devices when theres no clear way to access this and the associated QR code?

Totally frustrating, I've never understood these instructions with no outcome possible.

I would like private tabs to stay open when I close the browser so that I can return to them later. Until recently, this was the behavior my version of Firefox (139) was exhibiting. But now, using 141, it's closing all private tabs every time I switch to another app. I saw that starting in version 129, there is a "Close private tabs" option that you can toggle off. However, I do not see this setting in version 141 for Android. How can I get the behavior back of persisting private tabs?

Hallo, I wanted to deactivate my History on my Android smartphone, but when i looked in the Settings i didn't find anything to deactivate the History, so i searched on the Internet and found somethings but the points that they talked about weren't in my settings. So i wanted to ask if you could deactivate your History on a android phone?

With with many tabs open sites like YouTube just stop loading and I have to kill all tabs kill Firefox relaunch it and then the YouTube video will play otherwise it just hangs

Firefox mistakenly consumes ram when many tabs are open it should consume minimal ram and only load ram when a tab is actively being used

I love it. I using samsung j2 prime my old phone and only mozilla who good when i open chatgpt and others. no caution like 'your browser isnt private blahbla' thanks a lot.

1. Firefox is blocking legitimate websites 2. Firefox automatically redirects my attempt to reach Amazon.co.uk back into the app. I have to access the main account and sign in if I want to buy Kindle books. The app is blocked from allowing this.

Jump to Firefox browser within the app, and there is no translation button in the upper right corner menu.All browsers in the Chromium series have this function, whether it is Chrome or Edge, I hope a translation button can be added.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Android Firefox app used to have group tabs and was replaced by Collections. Personally, I find it less user friendly and requires more clicks while ending up with a worse version of what Group Tabs accomplished. It essentially operates as a weird mix of Group Tabs and Bookmarks while being worse than both.

Cons of Collections:

• There is no differentiation between tabs in a collection and not in a collection.
• There is no quick swapping between tabs in a collection.
• There is no option to Close all tabs in a collection but there is one to Open all tabs. This just looks messy.
• Collections can only be opened from Homepage, not the Tabs screen.
• Saving a collection requires long-press, select tab(s), tap Collection icon, then select a Collection. Group tabs requires longpress, select multiple, tap group icon OR drag and stack tabs.

Pros of Collections:

• Neatly stored on Homepage instead of taking up a Tab slot on Tab page. (which could be fixed be programming group tabs ability to be stored on Homepage and re-opened with option).

All in all it is just a 5/10 feature in functionality. Even less so when taking into account that Android Firefox also has Bookmarks and Shortcuts. Please go back to drawing board on this one, it's really one feature I miss about Chrome (and what I thought Firefox used to have).
