My contacts are on desktop. I have tried to follow the video - Butterscotch Import contacts to your Thunderbird address - but to no avail. If anyone can help a relatively computer not so literate. I would appreciate it.

The problem is that I get as far as the heading "Import Address Book" and in that pane there are two columns. The column on the right has Address Book fields, and the one on the left has Redcord data to import. I cannot get the items which are on the right to appear on the left. That seems to be my problem (I think). I continue to the nest page where it says that I have imported my contacts. But once in Thunderbird I cannot retrieve my contacts. That is the problem. Now if you can help I would appreciate it.

I have a 483KB bookmarks.html file I would like to import Thunderbird only gives me options for: LDIF, Tab, csv, txt. and Vcf
