Why can't I use Firefox to post photos to Facebook that have been edited in Photoshop, yet Safari handles them just fine?

Firefox fails to post JPG photos to my Facebook wall if the photo has been edited in Photoshop. It continues to cycle as if an unresponsive script. Photos that have not been edited in Photoshop seem to post ok. And, I don't have the problem posting edited Photoshop photos to Facebook using Safari.

I haven't heard of this before... Does it matter how you save the photo from Photoshop, for example, "Save As" vs. "Save for Web", and related options (progressive/optimized/profile)?
