Hi,

I am using a master password for protecting my credentials. Even thou I am using this password since a long time I have forgot it. For various reasons I need to recover the master password. Since I don't want to use a brute force password cracking application, can you help me recovering the master password? Please consider that I want to recover the password not to reset it.

You can't recover from a lost master password. If you have forgotten it then your stored passwords are lost. You can keep a copy of the current key3db and signons.sqlite files in case you remember the MP or want to try later. Also make sure that you haven't switched on caps lock by accident.

You can't recover from a lost master password. If you have forgotten it then your stored passwords are lost. You can keep a copy of the current key3db and signons.sqlite files in case you remember the MP or want to try later. Also make sure that you haven't switched on caps lock by accident.
