Which menu are you looking for? If you are on the start/home page, this should call up settings:

Android "hard" Menu button > More > Settings

If you do not find whatever it is you want to change, it might be possible to change it on the about:config preferences page (type about:config into the address bar and open it). However, the Mobile UI is quite different from and more limited than the desktop UI.

I realize it's not obvious, but you access bookmarks and history by tapping the menu bar.

i am looking for whatever menu it is that is being referred to in the firefox instructions that says go to the menu. There was something about tools and options and "firefox will...." and remembering history. But there is no menu and I am tired and ned to go to work. The only place i ever saw More was on the device menu and then the instructions would not only make no sense becsuse it is not the firefox menu but that there iz no settings after more at least not on kindle.

Hi JeffInGlenCarbon, the menu bar and options dialog on the desktop version of Firefox do not have a close analog on the mobile version of Firefox. You can clear history and enable/disable/clear cookies settings in the location I mentioned. What setting did you want to set? Maybe there is a way to do it.
