Videos not working after 13.0.1 update
Hello.
Just updated firefox to version 13.0.1 but videos in youtube/facebook etc etc are not playing. Checked all of my plugins and flash, real player, quicktime etc are all up to date.
Anyone got any ideas as to a fix?
Thanks.

You can try Flash 11.2 that you can download via this link:

This may be caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update.
See:
I have the latest version of Flash PLayer installed 11.3.300.257
After going through the support links, I have disabled 'Hardware Acceleration' in flash and also disabled the 'RealPlayer Browser Record extension'.
However still no joy in getting videos to work???

That seems to have done the trick! Thanks. Maybe something Mozilla need to look into though.
I've tried all of these fixes and nothing works. I just tried Pandora and it doesn't work either.
Here's two work arounds: I did have some luck viewing videos by rendering the websites (i.e. Youtube) in IE, using the IE rendering add-in, but the IE rendering doesn't work with Pandora.
Other work around was to just use IE, eventhough I hate it. Frustrating.
Adobe has just release an update to Flash that is supposed to fix the crashing issues. You can find the release notes here:

Anyone interested in trying the fix can get if from the Adobe website. You won't get an auto prompt at this point. If you downgraded to 10.x you won't get the update ever, so please be aware of that.
Make sure you uncheck any other software they might try to bundle with the download if you don't want it on your computer.

Please post back on if this works or not. Any feedback would be helpful!
13.0.1 is useless. Problems included.. hyperlinks not working, facebook not working, youtube not working, ebay not displaying pictures, - was unable to roll back install or uninstall - ive never had any problems with FF before but not im back on IE as i was unable to resolve all of the problems with 13.0.1. im very dissapointed that with FF I really shouldnt have to be spending hours trying to repair my dam pc - lots of my friends are having theese problems too.

I too am having this problem.
I too am disappointed that the FREE software I have been using without a single problem for over 6 years has developed the first compatibility issue I have seen so far, and with a 3rd party plugin no less (this couldn't possibly be the fault of Adobe).
All sarcasm aside, I simply rolled back to the previous version of Flash player posted above and everything works fine again. I hope for a solid fix from Adobe or Mozilla in the future. Thanks for this solution.
Here is the fix! Worked Awesome!!! (Yes, the video will work on this link)
