Firefox (font assigning) not compatible with Library's search results?

About a month ago Firefox started displaying an unusably small font with my library's search results page.

I can control the font size quite nicely with Firefox on the library's home page via the Fonts & Colors Advanced page options. It is when I go into the search operation that the issue occurs.

Internet Explorer works fine and Firefox worked fine until about a month ago.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
