My inbox shows normally but when I open an email the message is not visible. Any attachments that the email may have are visible. In order to see the message I have to either click "Reply" or "Printable View". When visiting websites I have trouble with some of the tabs, ie. Some times an item I click on will not be added to the shopping cart, sometimes it will but then I can't get the "Check shipping cost" button to take me to the zip code window. In You Tube I can watch a video but none of the little pictures of other videos show up on the right side, only boxes with the length of the video (8:19). I don't know what to do to fix this.

Try the Firefox SafeMode.
A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)

  1. You can open the Firefox 4/5/6/7 SafeMode by holding the Shft key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
  2. Or use the Help menu item, click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled... while Firefox is running.

To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.
