
Firefox will not download on a different computer.
My wife was unable to connect to Firefox. After unsuccessfully following "Help" ideas, we deleted Firefox so that I could download it all new. No luck! It still says that a connection can not be made. Her Internet Explorer works just fine!

There are other things that need your attention.
Your above posted system details show some seriously outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks that you should update as soon as possible.
- Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 8.2.6
- Shockwave Flash 10.0 r42
- Java Plug-in 1.4.2 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper)

Remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder.
You may need to delete active-update.xml and updates.xml as well if present.
