Thunderbird nie uzupełnia hasła pomimo, że jest zapisane w menadżerze.
Witam. Mam problem z hasłem. Za każdym razem kiedy wysyłam email thunderbird żąda wpisania hasła informując, że takie nie zostało odnalezione. Po wpisaniu wiadomość zostaje wysłana ale przy następnym wysyłaniu historia się powtarza. W menadżerze jest zapisane hasło, ale thunderbird nie odczytuje go. Nie pomogły żadne usuwania i restarty. Proszę o pomoc.

After sending, when you look in settings>privacy&security, is the password there? And can you send multiple messages prior to closing down Thunderbird? And, when you restart thunderbird, is the password missing from settings>privacy&security? If the answer is YES, then my guess is the prefs.js file in the profile is being prevented from updating at shutdown. This might be an antivirus or VPN interfering. You can check this by these steps:
- click help>troubleshootinginformation
- scroll to 'profile folder' and click 'open folder'
- you are now in the profile. see if there is more than one prefs.js file (such as prefs-1.js, prefs-2.js). If the dates are current, that is proof of the problem. Although I have no idea what is causing the problem, you can often fix current issue by deleting all copies except the one with highest number, and then renaming that one to prefs.js.
