I have recently moved to Linux, Ubuntu, and Thunderbird. I can't figure out how to make bullets or numbered lists.

Also, why to I get hash tags when I choose numbered list, see above.

My inference is that you are referring to creating lists and bullets in email messages. To do that,

  1. you need to be composing in HTML
  2. the bullet and number options are on the toolbar, shown here in color with arrow to icon. see attached

My inference is that you are referring to creating lists and bullets in email messages. To do that,

  1. you need to be composing in HTML
  2. the bullet and number options are on the toolbar, shown here in color with arrow to icon. see attached
