In email message filtering, you can set rules to run every 10 minutes, can this be changed to less often?

Yes.
- Settings > General
- Scroll to bottom and click on 'Config Editor' button
- It open the 'Advanced Preferences' in a new tab
- In search type: FilterRate
- Look for: mail.server.default.periodicFilterRateMinutes
- It will auto say 10
- Click on the Pencil icon on the right
- Clear the 10 and type in the new setting eg: 20
- click on the tick icon to save the setting.
Reopen the Message Filters then either select a filter and click on 'Edit' or click on 'New' You will notice the change eg: 'Periodically, every 20 minutes'
