This link has all the instructions: follow steps carefully. Thunderbird uses pixels, not points, so I suggest using a larger number than anticipated and adjust up or down as needed.

Thank you very much for the information. I have figured it out myself in the meantime. In Win 11: Settings > Accessibility > Textsize Your choice with the slider. The text size is displayed throughout Windows and the apps. /hans peter
