Action after deleting email?

Hi guys. It used to be that when I read an email and click the delete button, the tab would close and it would return to the folder the email was in. But since the last update, it just shows me the next email in the folder.

Is there a way to change that? I want to return to the folder after an email was deleted. I don't want to look at the next email.

I looked in settings everywhere and if there is a way to change that in settings, I can't find it.

Thank you so much in advance for your help.

Check to see if you have any disabled addons. I am aware that the addon 'deselect on delete TB78' does that.

Nope, I have no addons whatsoever. This is for my automation software. It's crucial that I get back to the original setting.

Found it! It's in Settings > General > Open message in:

I don't think that does what you asked for. Your concern was about closing, not about opening,

It does. Look into settings and you will see you can check a"Close message window/tab on move or delete" check box.

Thanks. I stand corrected. :)
