Due to Apple's restrictions the Firefox web browser for iOS/iPadOS is a wrapper on webkit. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-ons-firefox-ios

Due to recent changes in EUm it may be possible in future to have Firefox using the Gecko engine like the Android and desktop Firefox versions though.
