Thunderbird is not including current month emails in searches.

Whenever I search emails in Thunderbird, it does not display any in the results from the current month. This has been happening for a while. I get so many emails that at times I don't recall WHEN something came in, and I have to scroll and scroll to find it if I need to see it again. Very frustrating and time consuming. I hope someone has an answer, I've exhausted hunting for settings that are doing this.

It is indeed frustrating.

How are you performing your searches?

Are all the folders that you want to search using Global Search marked as such in the folder properties?

(Right click on folder name, and select "Properties".)
