Hello, I have Thunderbird 128.6.1esr (64-bit) running on a new Gateway Windows 11-Home computer. Thunderbird does the download for the new version but when it tries to install the download it says "Installation Failed". Help and or Fixes to this will be greatly appreciated.

Also:

I have manually downloaded TB 128.7.0 to my laptop but don't know if installing it over TB 128.6 will work without messing up my mailboxes or settings.

Delete the entire "Mozilla Thunderbird" program folder. Download from thunderbird.net and install. Please post your results.
