JavaScript and Firefox are both screwing up my life and android phone
HOW DO WE RESTORE JAVASCRIPT. I guess 🤣 need to buy a new phone thanks to FIREFOX. None of the crap in this forum or online works. At first my problem was I can't open links because I need to enable JavaScript. I cannot use the suggested fix i.e. about:config. Doesn't work.
Just a few minutes ago I was able to post a DISAPPEARING query and then somehow I'm not in Firefox and when I try to log in WHICH I DID just minutes before I'm told my password doesn't work or I need to use primary acct which I try and still get told it's WRONG. So now I think I'm here by signing in with Gmail but the problems keep multiplying until I can't remember all the steps I took when something worked and a second later it was bad page or some warning or this that and the other. WHY THE "&?$ isn't there a fix I can complete before I die of old age? HOW DO I ENABLE JAVASCRIPT and why did it quit working?

Hi
Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox for Android? One of them may be preventing JavaScript from running in websites that you are visiting.
NOBODY HAS GIVEN ANY CONSTRUCTIVE HELP
TO RESTORE JAVASCRIPT
THIS 'HELP' FORUM IS WORTHLESS
A WASTE OF TIME

JavaScript is enabled by default.
Paul asks if you have any Extensions installed in Firefox for Android as uBlock Origin and especially NoScript Security Suite can affect JavaScript use in Firefox.
JavaScript may be enabled by default but it can also be disabled (which I did not do). THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED because Paul was correct in asking if I had any extensions enabled and on checking I did have. I cannot remember the name of the extension, only that it was NOT named anything like DISABLE JAVASCRIPT.
I went thru 4 days of frustration because of an inaccurate or deceptive name for the extension. Part of the name was in fact SCRIPT but nothing mentioning JavaScript.
I thank Paul for asking about the possibility of an Extension I added. I had 3 Extensions added. After removing the one labeled Script something, the problem was solved
