Settings button/bookmarks access disappears when new tab is opened
When I want to open a bookmark in a new tab, there's no Settings button. If I'm in a tab I wish to keep open, the Settings button is there. I'm able to use it to open the new tab, and then I can't go anywhere unless I know the address, because I can't access my bookmarks. I've been waiting a long time for this to be fixed. I don't see any logical reason for this, so I wonder if I'm missing something or if a setting got changed. Please help me access my bookmarks from a fresh tab.

Import bookmark
There are currently no plans to include importing bookmarks from other browsers into Firefox for Android due to Android restrictions. For more technical users, there is a path to work around this restriction by syncing data utilizing a Windows, MacOS, or Linux device. To learn more, please see this article.
Sort bookmark
I’m sorry if you can’t sort bookmarks on Firefox for Android. This is something that our team have acknowledged, but we don’t have any specific plans to share at this time. In the meantime, you can use the desktop version to sort through your bookmarks.
Bookmark management
Improved bookmark management is something that our developers are interested in pursuing. At this time however, the team’s focus is directed towards higher priority items on the roadmap. We hope to provide more details once this functionality makes it onto the product roadmap.
Does that mean that this was just intentionally changed to remove the settings? I don't understand how this makes any sense.
Hi
I am sorry but I am not quite sure what you mean.
When I open a bookmark, a new tab opens with that bookmarked site and I have the full Firefox for Android Settings menu available.
If I do not open a new tab, when I select a bookmark it uses the current tab and I loose the site I was on. If I open a new tab, there is no longer the settings button I would use to open a bookmark. It started with an update a while ago.

Would it be possible to take a screenshot of the new tab where there is no menu icon and attach it to a reply to this thread?
