on one email account when I delete an email it shows a RED X and a Line thru the Email but does not remove it to the delete file??

Some other email accounts remove the email to the delete folder when I delete and they do not stay in the open email list. what do I do for the account that when I delete an email it shows a RED X and a Line thru the Email but does not remove it to the delete file??

That will be an IMAP-connected account. Have a look at the account settings, under Server settings and there are options for what happens when you delete. I think you'll find this one is set to "just mark it as deleted".

That will be an IMAP-connected account. Have a look at the account settings, under Server settings and there are options for what happens when you delete. I think you'll find this one is set to "just mark it as deleted".
