every time i opened firefox on windows 8,it shows 'Already opened do u want to close'. When i clicked ok,it shows error something related to profile. I read about the removal of parent.lock file after ending the process tree of firefox from task manager. but every time i removed it it comes automatically for the next time. Why this problem occurs? Previously i never faced such problem. I tried by re installing firefox many times,but the remains. please tell how to get rid of this problem.

I understand that you have removed the lock file. Is the profile folder managed by a network drive?

If not try a new profile: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles
