Please help me recover container login and sync I use about 15 container, each containing logins and important data. Recently i thought of installing firefox on to my very old laptop. However after installing and login, few hours later i got know that my main machine's firfox containers are reset to default. Quite few containers are missing and none of them contain login or anything. Some of container contained emails which are important but i don't recall their login so recovering is very though. Yes i haven't store password login anywhere only if i can no name i can recover. Those email contain very important work data, Please help recover those container along with logins.

I am signing into my Mozilla account on a new computer with a clean Firefox install. I'm able to get into my account using an authorization code to my email, but Firefox Sync isn't working so no bookmarks/passwords/history/etc. I have a persistent "account disconnected" with a yellow triangle icon. Upon clicking through, I see "Please sign in to reconnect [my email address]" with a sign in button. Signing in does nothing. What's really strange is that my other Mozilla account works fine, which leads me to believe this is an account issue—except that I've synced this account across several devices already.

Hello, I am looking to see if there is a way to find/gain access to my old firefox account.

I thought I was logged in under either of my two primary emails but when I logged in after my computer glitched and I had to reset it, my bookmarks and passwords didn't reappear. Is there a way i can somehow retrieve this?

All help would be so welcome

I utilize folders for organizing bookmarks. Twice now I have had one of my bookmarks deleted by Firefox and I do not know what to do to stop it. Unsure of what I was doing the first time when I realized it had happened. This time, just a couple of hours ago, I was organizing my bookmarks and it was there and I did put a new bookmark in it. When I was done I went into Firefox and opened the tab to make sure it was working correctly and after closed everything out. I did not delete anything but some older bookmarks and made sure that no folders were highlighted and in fact, the folder in question was there before I closed out of Firefox. I come back, without shutting my computer down, open Firefox and it was gone. This is at best frustrating and at worst makes me want to use another browser altogether.

I've been having an error message popping up that says that FireFox is already running in the background, like my account has been locked but none of the fixes, fixed the issues. I'm really appreciate any help you can give me. I've had to make this report from Microsoft Edge in the meantime. Hopefully this can be fixed because Firefox has always been my preferred browser.

I get PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR when trying to load certain websites. I don't use any proxy or VPN, I tried disabling DoH. Also sometimes i get 403 forbidden cloudflare.

what? why is this still worrying about certs, when I clearly want to open up a non-ssl port, that's ridiculous, I gotta disable cache or delete it for this to go away at the least, I can't be using ssl on all the ports, that's an absolute pain

how do you get around this? how do you stop firefox from rewriting a http request to https?

I would like to disable some built in hotkeys: for switching to the previous and next tabs (Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDn), I want to rebind them to F6 and F7; for closing the current tab (Ctrl+W), I want to rebind it to F4; for duplicating the current tab (Ctrl+Shift+T), I want to rebind it to F8.

I've learned that you can do this by using autoconfig from here , but I don't know how to specifically setup the autoconfig file to find the right keyconfigs. Does anybody have a solution for this?

RTX VSR still doesn't work at all. I have version 130 of firefox and no VSR. I've tried it on chrome and no issues there, it just works. I've always enjoyed using firefox and it bugs me that apparently this feature was added in update 126. Moreover there is multiple threads giving advice on how to get it working, I've tried all the methods and even then still haven't been able to use VSR on firefox.

for me, about:profiles currently shows my profile in use as:

Profile: Joey This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted. Default Profile yes Root Directory C:\Users\Joey\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7agyzsl4.Joey 10 Local Directory C:\Users\Joey\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7agyzsl4.Joey 10 1. why does it say "Profile: Joey" when the profile filename is "Joey 10"?

2. I want it to say "Profile: Joey 10", or for that value to MATCH the filename of the root or local directory.

    What do I need to do?

Lately receiving annoying pop-ups from 123greetings that have nothing to do with greeting cards. Appear every time i turn on computer and on every site i engage. Says they are "via Firefox".Thats why im turning to you for help.I am not technically oriented, so stating the solution as simple as possible would be appreciated. (I had a 123greetings account, which I deleted in hopes of getting rid of them. No luck.) Thanks for your help.

PS-Recent scan from Malwarebytes suggested 2 pups??? but they were quarantined. Problem persists.

Good day, i was installing a fresh windows on my pc and planning to sync my bookmarks but i accidentally sync a new set of bookmarks to my account, now all my OLD bookmarks are gone, can i still retrieve or recovery my old bookmarks?

I've been struggling with this issue for a few months. After Firefox updates, my toolbar layout gets reset and I have to re-do it from scratch. If that wasn't bad enough, occasionally when this happens it also enters this state where nothing loads. All tabs just get stuck in blank screen "dancing dot mode". Yes, google, everything. To "fix" this, I go into troubleshoot mode, and back to normal again, and then it's "fixed"... until it happens again a few days later. I can actually rebuild my toolbar layout in under 15 seconds now, I've done it so many times. I've tried doing the 'refresh'. Many times. I've fully uninstalled and re-installed Firefox. I uninstalled plugins that I suspected might be the cause. Nothing worked. At best these measures kept firefox stable a couple of weeks longer. I actually gave up and tried other browsers for a while. Any insight is appreciated.
