Since the last update firefox/mozilla pushed out I'm having problems with copying my saved login info thru my comcast.net email folder, I tried this with another comcast email and had the same issue. I've cleaned out my browing history/cache. I've even uninstalled and re-installed firefox but to no avail the same issue continues. Could this be a connectivity or program issue with comcast.net site? I need help.

Are you using Firefox to save and insert your login or a third party product (e.g., LastPass)?

If you're using Firefox's feature, try the following:

(1) Click the page first then click in the user name field (someone said this works on Yahoo)

(2) Delete all logins for Comcast from the following dialog and then have Firefox save them again:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Security > "Saved Passwords"

If you're using a third party product, check to make sure it's enabled here:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > in the left column click Extensions

You may also need to update the software (typically outside of Firefox unless you got the extension from the Mozilla Add-ons site).

Does any of that help?

Do you have a problem to log in to your mail account or is this something else?

Do you try to clear the cookies from the comcast domain?

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Does it work in a Private Browsing mode window?
