firefox won't let me change proxy setting
the setting for acsessing the internet have changed from no proxy to manual proxy confuration, firefox won't let me change the setting. I've gone to firewall and changed the permissions but it didn't fix problem. I can acsess internet through internet explorer. What do I do??

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
