IE allows me to 'zoom' so that content fills more of my 20" screen. How do I do this in FireFox?
Firefox displays my home page (cbc.ca) in a narrow 7" strip down the middle of my 20" HP300 AIO screen. IE allows me to zoom on either side of the 100% mark. How can I do this in FireFox?

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
- Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/

Yes, it works. CTRL+\ is a little more cumbersome than clicking an icon and choosing a zoom-size, but yes, it works.
