When I open my Bookmarks it leaves a ghost image on the desktop

When I open my bookmarks drop down and it is larger than the Firefox window and I click on a bookmark the bookmark drop down closes, but a ghost image of the bookmarks shows on my desktop. It did not happen with my previous version of Firefox. It goes away if I click show desktop, but is very annoying. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem with FireFox (8.0). I can't duplicate the problem in Internet Explorer. Updating my graphics driver didn't help.
