Since downloading latest version, I get a minimized version left upper screen with often message "not responding." Occasionally, I can expand this little area but can't access my favorites. I have Windows Vista 64 bits
I have Windows Vista 64 bits and after downloading latest version of Firefox, I get a minimized screen in the left upper screen which variably can be expanded, but no access to favorites and often message when accessing the Task Manager, that "not responding" is the message which variably reverts to responding, but no access in either case

Try:
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
