proxy resets to 127.0.0.1. Can reset to NO PROXY but resets upon restart. Have deleted prefs,js but problem returns. Help....

First start returns "proxy server refuses". I reset options to "no proxy" and Firefox will run OK but next start proxy has been reset to 127.0.0.1.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
