How to change from the French version to the UK English version of 3.6.16

I have Mac OS 10.4.11; when the offer to download version 4 came I downloaded assuming it would run on my machine; the download wiped out my existing version and then would not work; in re downloading 3.6.16 I forgot to select the English language and the French version downloaded automatically (I live in France). The download pages in "select your language" now only offer version 4. I am unable to find a page for downloading 3.6.16 in English.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
