Won't let me open a new brower tab either until the FILE dropdown nor in the Tab bar
Firefox does not allow me to open a new browser tab. I have tried both the [File] dropdown menu and clicking on the blank tab next to the current tab. Using 3.6.13 and Windows XP

Try uninstalling the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and the current version of Firefox.
