Why does Firefox not open automatically, when minimized in the Dock, like it used to?
Firefox no longer automatically opens, when minimized in the Dock, like it used to before the last update. When a Firefox window is minimized in the Dock, whenever you clicked on a link, Firefox used to open automatically with the new webpage. Now, it does not open without manually opening it from the Dock. This is more time-consuming, inconvenient and awkward. The change occurred right after the latest upgrade.

Got the same problem. I'm on OS X 10.6.3 and Firefox 3.6.3 at home and on OS X 10.5 and Firefox 3.6.3 at work.
Description: As long as FF is not minimized to the Dock everything works fine, I click a link in another app and FF comes to front and opens the desired site. But if FF is minimized to the Dock it will not come up from it, instead FF only gets active (recognizable through the Menubar) and the desired site gets loaded while the app is still in the Dock. You have to click the icon in the dock to manually bring up FF.
The problem was introduced with the update to FF3.6 - so a workaround would be to downgrade to 3.5.9 ...
Why does Firefox not open in Dock as it used to? Have to quit Firefox and open in "Recent Items."
