how much space can i add to Thunderbird if i want to send a video or file without adding a n app r to do it. Where it says add files how much can iput thee can i go like 500 or more

Ask your mail provider how large an email they will left you send. Thunderbir has no limit, but almost every mail provider in existence has some form of limit on the size of emails they will handle.

If the file is actually 500 MB, we recommend setting your provider's limit to 700 MB.Due to the encoding required for transmission, the total file size will actually increase to about 660 MB.
Setting the limit to 700 MB with your chosen provider will ensure the file goes through successfully.
