I keep being told to update my account but don't have a password to sign in

Firefox updates are handled securely through the official Google Play Store, not via website pop-ups or emails.

If that update or be deleted message was an email, please mark it as spam. If it was a pop-up on a specific website, it was likely a scam advertisement trying to trick you.

Is it perhaps an email with similar content?

If you are using the same Mozilla account as the one you posted this question from, you should be all set — just you signing in here to submit the question was enough login activity to keep it active.
