Downloaded Thunderbird but don't know how to set it up and start using it?
I have no idea what to do now that I have downloaded Thunderbird email on my Surface 4. I can't find any directions anywhere on how to get started with it.! Outlook, while not secure, was certainly easy to set up and use.

It sounds like you have downloaded the installer program but have not installed it yet. Here is an article about how to do that. It references an older version of Thunderbird, but the process is still about the same.

Once it's installed you will need to set up an account for your preferred email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com, Comcast, Charter, etc.)
