I used an old update for my account accidentally. I fixed that but lost my contacts in my address book. How can I get them restored please.

Thunderbird for Android doesn't have its own address book. It reads from your default contacts app. You may be able to restore contacts from a google backup if enabled. See below. https://support.google.com/android/answer/12761392?hl=en
If your having an issue seeing contacts in Thunderbird for Android... 1. Long press the Thunderbird launcher icon > app info > permissions 2. Check / grant permission to read your contacts.
