Hello. I am trying to get Thunderbird Mobile to connect to my work e-mail. myname@ourdomain.com is hosted by Outlook. I have tried many times using the manual setup for the account. Every time I type in password at M/S I get

AUTHENTICATION ERROR. The server returned the following message:

AUTHENTICATION failed.

But when I check at mysignins.microsoft.com, it shows Successful Sign-in Thunderbird Android.

I have tried the Export to Mobile function from desktop, but the profile does not show as desktop's configuration only worked properly using the MICROSOFT E-MAIL EXCHANGE SERVER.

I went ahead and installed Outlook app on the phone so I could get my e-mail, but after only half a day, I hate Outlook. Please help me get T'bird working.

Trying to get the mobil version to work. Can the mobil version coexist with the PC version? I tried leaving messages on server, but no joy. Got through the setup OK, but the mobile version want a signon to Google

Seit dem Update über Playstore wurden alle Mails vom Posteingang (Gemeinsamer Psitereingang mit mehreren Konten) in den Papierkorb verschoben und die Einstrellungen für Mails Abfragen wurden ebenfalls verändert ! TB crashed so I uninstalled/reinstalled it. As part of the reinstallation, I selected the "load more" value as 1000 more. This was done rather casually and without any consideration. Afterwards, I thought perhaps this might slow Thunderbird down. Is that true? And how do I change "1000 more" to some other value? I've searched extensively but can't find a solution anywhere. When I open my Inbox on Thunderbird for Android, the notifications are still displayed even after I close out of the app. So I have to always go back and manually swipe away all the notifications.

I select multiple messages to delete, and it doesn't delete all of them. I have to go back and select again to delete the remaining messages. Sometimes more than once.

Question 1: How can I add an HTML signature file for an account in Thunderbird for Android by referencing a file on my phone? Or, something similar that will accomplish the same thing (i.e., HTML email .sig).

Background: In Thunderbird on my Desktop (currently using 140.10.1esr), I can go to Account Settings, select an email account, check the "Attach the signature from a file instead (text, HTML, or image):" and then "Choose..." a file I created on my local machine. My file is HTML (e.g., mysig.html) and references an image (in the same local directory). I want to replicate this in TBA.

Question 2: If there is no way to do this (the functionality is not purposefully there and there is no work-around to fool TBA into behaving properly), is there a place I can submit this request to the developers?

I am a senior who has no desire to be in clouds, social media, etc. I have been using Thunderbird email on my laptop for about a year and a half now. Thank you for allowing me to keep my pop3 account, I have been very happy. I just want to have email on my phone because I like to get notice of email but I like to delete it and collect it on my laptop because it remains on the server. I periodically access the laptop and do all banking, etc. from there. Completely old school with local storage. Everything I have looked up said that I could still keep my pop3 account on my phone. I have a new Samsung A57 that I am trying to set up. The old phone had Outlook but it is locked out so I have to start from scratch. I thought I would rather do that with you than the others that seem to be taking all of our personal data over and leaving us no choice in how we would like to work. ich habe  seit  5  tagen  kein e.mail.   e.mail schon aber kann keine mails  verschicken.  ich musste  am 1.mai   bei magenta  mein paswort  neu eingeben  .  das funktioniert  jetzt  aber mails kann ich nicht  versenden :(

I have set up Push Notification and have a small blue icon at the top left of the screen and I will get notifications but then I notice it has gone quiet and the little icon has disappeared so I have to close Thunderbird and then restart it to get the icon back at the top of the screen. Any suggestions please as to what is causing this.
