help with new laptop set up
Well being an OAP I needed new laptop. Always used Firefox browser but finding it difficult to get restarted. Had to opt out of window s to even download. Apparently I can transmit(?) my existing passwords etc from one laptop to another is this correct? Only basic computer knowledge but trying hard !! Karen x

Hi, thanks for the link, had loads of trouble getting Firefox set up on my new laptop. Something to do with microsoft:( Think I've managed to finally get it on board, but all attempts to open my normal websites end in a crashed tab. Using my old laptop as can't even get into my gmail account. Thought I had registered it but can't access it. To old to cope with new tech!! Any suggestions - using a Lenovo in both cases. Hi, well finally seem to have it working!! Will come back to you if I get any more problems. Thanks for your help. My solution in the end was to turn it off and go back the next day with fresh enthuiasm! Karen
