Recovering bookmarks and saved passwords
My laptop's motherboard is being replaced. While that process is ongoing, I'm using a spare laptop from my employer. I didn’t realize that resetting my password would delete all of my saved passwords, bookmarks, etc. Will they still be available on the laptop that’s being repaired, since it wasn’t synced with the Firefox servers?

Did you reset your password for your Mozilla account? That alone should not delete any browsing history or saved passwords. As long as you have a Mozilla account and enabled syncing within Firefox, you should have nothing to worry about. Follow up question, is your hard drive still intact? If your hard drive is also being replaced, then your data might be lost if you DO NOT have syncing enabled.

I reset my password for syncing and saving my data. After signing into my account, none of my bookmarks or saved passwords were there.
I haven’t checked either of the SSDs yet. Dell will be onsite tomorrow to replace the motherboard. My concern is that because I reset my password, when I log into my Mozilla account, my data will be gone.

The Sync cloud data is gone, but the locally stored data -- assuming the technician doesn't erase it -- should be intact.
Would I be able to make the locally stored data my new sync data?
