I DO NOT use Google for anything, if I can help it. Every time I go to my credit union's website, the google bar showing View this page in (English, in my case) or turn off for detect language shows up. I have no idea where it came from, I haven't used Chrome in years.

I've attached a small screenshot. It's not a huge deal, but I don't like google showing up at my credit union, or anywhere else.

Any help would be appreciated.

Link that your using so others can at least see what if any options exits for it. Sounds like your using Google search and that seems to be coming from Google itself not Firefox.

On https://www.providencecu.org/? That is a feature of the site -- they use a WordPress plugin that embeds the old Google Translate widget.

Feel free to ignore it. Or you can use the menu on the right to turn it off (see attached screenshot). Or, if it really bothers you that it runs in the background, maybe an add-on can block it. I have not researched that.

Thank you! Good to know that it's the credit union's plugin; I just get tired of telling it to ignore the page every time.
