Password popup immediately closed
When attempting to insert account/password into a website, the Firefox would popup, ask for the iOS passcode, popup the list of matching accounts then immediately closed that popup and create a blank tab.
This also happened when trying an alternative but similar method with "Use saved password".
Infuriating.
Difficult to reaearch this.
Happens on numerous websites, most recently at Alternative To dot net.

Hey Egbert, Do you have any other password managers installed on your phone?
Just the latest Firefox 129.2 (44469) app (alongside with the Apple Password).
I, too, had a problem with passwords - I could not access the passwords. After syncing with my account on mozilla, I completely removed the app from iOs, shut down the iphone, waited for 10 minutes and then fired back up. Added Firefox, then I toggled the 'block popups' setting to no. I can now access my passwords screen from settings.
To get Autofill on iOS to work I went to my DESKTOP firefox. Selected Tools, Settings In the 'Find in Settings' bar I entered pass I have checked: Ask to save passwords, Fill usernames and passwords automatically
Scroll down to Sync Syncing is On It says I am syncing passwords and settings (among others) I click on Sync now
back on iphone I opened a new window and tested it. The firefox works. I had to be sure I was accessing firefox and now the iOS password application which hasn't worked for me.
