Shortcut Icons
I set up 4ows of shortcuts on the home page. Almost ever shortcut had an icon. Now all of the icons are gone except for youtube, ebay and amazon. Not sure what happened to the rest of the icons. Has this happened to anyone else?

Were that custom icon (i.e. you set them yourself) or icons generated by Firefox from the cache? In case of the latter this could be caused by clearing the disk cache. You can also check the thumbnail cache in the secondary profile location in "AppData\Local" used for the cache. See the about:cache and the about:profiles pages for the location of the cache and go up one level.
