I've removed the original Firefox from my PC after noticed, it appeared in Microsoft Store. I've pinned it's icon already to taskbar, and right-clicked on that, but there is no option for start up FF in private mode. Any settings for that available for users, maybe?

I'm curious to see what the options are when you right click the icon pinned to your taskbar. Screenshot please. See my screenshot of Mozilla from the web.

Can you try a version from here? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

That version of course works, but currently I would like to use the MSIX version of Firefox

You can use Sync to copy your info to the Mozilla version as a backup, but your issue is with the MSIX version. I'm not sure what MS has done to that version, maybe one of the moderators can provide that detail.
