I did have Firefox but I do not have it anymore and how can I stop the emails from the forum which are answering questions on a product I do not use now?

You can do the following: open each thread you started or commented in and, on the right side, use
Question Tools > Stop Email Updates
to unsubscribe from that thread. There is a list of them on your profile page:
