Some tabs are "stuck" during session restore

I have about 18 tabs open at once in my browser window. After I quit and relaunch, some tabs remain "stuck" on past pages even if I've visited other pages in them afterward. Those tabs remain on those same pages after every relaunch, for instance, if one of those tabs was on Google Maps, it will open on that page on every single relaunch, even though I've visited many different sites on that particular tab in each session. The only way I've figured to fix the problem is to close a problem tab and create a new tab to replace it. I've looked at the sessionstore.js file and it is being modified every time I quit. This only affects some tabs. Most restore properly. Could it be caused by having too many tabs open? This started happening a few months and versions ago and has persisted ever since.

I also tried changing the preferences to "show my home page" on restart, which wiped out my session, but the problem returned afterward.

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).
