I usually use xmarks but wanted to try the FF sync as its one less adon i need but i have some questions.

If i have 2 comps with completely different bookmarks which takes precedence ?

If i do a fresh install of FF on another comp and then log-on to my sync account will the empty (well almost empty as default FF has a few bookmarks on it) erase all the bookmarks from the upload server and then wipe everything from my other computers ?

I suppose im confused as you can not specify if you want to upload a specific computers data or download it from the server or maybe even merge it (although id never need to merge them) . Just seems to be an absolute lack of control here :-/

Thx all.

hello JackDinn, sync doesn't have the concept of a master device who takes precedence over the other - the content of all your installations will be merged when using the sync service.
