Yes this can be changed: In order to change your Firefox Configuration please do the following steps :
- In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
- Click I'll be careful, I promise! to continue to the about:config page.
- Search for browser.newtab.columns and browser.newtab.rows and double click the value to change 3 to 4.

I did both,but nothing changed.
i got it :) u forgot to write after browser.newtab to "page" and i didn't find it. Thank u
