How do I stop the firefox "let's get started
Google is my homepage. When I open my firefox browser it open Google, then another page that says "check out what is new" and "let's get started." I've navigated through it entirely and even completed the "sync" feature it offers. It will not stop. I've tried to reset my homepage and this does not work. The last person that tried to help insisted it was my homepage and it is not.

hello, this might happen when firefox is not able to properly save preferences in its profile folder. please try this: Click the menu button 
and then click help 
> troubleshooting information > profile folder - "show folder". then a new window will open up. in this window look out for a file named user.js (it might be used to overwrite your custom settings). in case it is present , delete or rename this file and restart firefox afterwards.
